Workshops

Sometimes things become easier when they finally make sense.

Why do we keep having the same argument?

Why can my child hold everything together all day and fall apart the moment they get home?

Why can I know exactly what I need to do and still be unable to start?

Why does something seemingly small sometimes create such an enormous reaction?

Workshops bring psychological understanding into everyday life.

They're designed for people who don't necessarily want therapy or professional training — but do want to understand themselves, their relationships or someone they care about a little better.

ADHD & Autism in Relationships

Why do we keep having the same argument?

Different ways of communicating, processing information, managing demands and regulating emotion can create painful patterns between partners.

This workshop explores what can happen when ADHD and/or autism is part of a relationship — and how couples can begin to understand their differences without making either person the problem.

For: couples, partners and individuals.

Understanding Your Neurodivergent Child

When behaviour doesn't seem to make sense.

Why are they fine at school and falling apart at home?

Why can a simple request create such an enormous reaction?

Why can they do something one day and seemingly be unable to do it the next?

Explore sensory needs, executive functioning, demands, masking, overwhelm and emotional regulation — and what these can mean for everyday family life.

For: parents and carers of ADHD and autistic children and young people.

Why Can't I Just Do It?

Understanding the ADHD brain.

You know the thing needs doing.

You might even desperately want to do it.

So why can't you start?

A practical workshop exploring executive functioning, motivation, overwhelm, procrastination, emotional regulation and some of the shame that can develop around repeatedly struggling with things other people seem to find easy.

For: adults with ADHD, a diagnosis, or those exploring whether ADHD may be relevant to their experience.

When Your Nervous System Takes Over

Understanding overwhelm and emotional regulation.

Sometimes our reactions feel bigger than the situation in front of us.

This workshop explores what happens when our nervous system detects threat, why thinking clearly can become difficult when we're overwhelmed and how we can begin to recognise our own patterns of activation and regulation.

For: adults interested in understanding themselves and their responses more deeply.
